The car seat is approved from birth up to approximately 6 years (125 cm / 22 kg). It is flexible, exceptionally lightweight and offers adjustable legroom.

Ergo Cushion™ – individual spine support
Ergo Cushion™ provides customized comfort for the growing spine thanks to cushions placed in the backrest. They gently support the natural lumbar curve — which is especially important in children aged around 3/4–7 years, when a more pronounced lumbar lordosis appears.

AGR Certificate*
The car seat has been officially recognized as back-friendly by AGR, ensuring the highest comfort and proper support.

One-hand operation
A special handle allows both rotation of the car seat and adjustment of its position with one hand. Turn the seat towards the door to easily place the child in, then set a comfortable recline angle.

More legroom
Legroom can be increased by up to 16 cm. Simply tilt the front element of the base.

ISOfix installation
Installation is exceptionally quick and intuitive. Simply attach the ISOfix arms to the car's anchorage points, push the base against the seat backrest, adjust the support leg — and it's ready.

Spacious seat
The interior of the car seat is designed so that the child has plenty of room to move, even up to approx. 6 years. The headrest is adjustable in 11 positions and grows with the child up to 125 cm.

Extra protection
The additional SIP+ element increases safety in the event of a side impact by an additional 20%. The headrest is made of innovative materials that effectively absorb impact energy.

Ideal angle setting thanks to Universal Level Technology™
Universal Level Technology™ eliminates the problem of setting the car seat too upright. The construction ensures the correct installation angle in every car model. The spirit level indicator in the green zone confirms proper adjustment.

What does it do, why is the German certificate so important and which car seats have it?

AGR Association – history

AGR, meaning Aktion Gesunder Rücken, is an independent German organization that brings together over 150,000 doctors and physiotherapists specializing in back-related issues. It was founded in 1995 and for over 25 years has been promoting activities in the field of treatment and prevention of spinal disorders. Most of us now lead a sedentary lifestyle, and maintaining proper posture is much easier with an appropriately organized environment. It is therefore no surprise that an important part of the AGR association's activity is reviewing everyday products and certifying those that have a positive impact on the health of our backs. Obtaining the AGR certificate is not easy, however.

AGR Association Certificate

The AGR association certificate was created so that people without expert knowledge could easily find everyday items that are back-friendly. Products marked with it provide adequate support for the musculoskeletal system, thus positively affecting spinal health and providing relief for certain conditions. Moreover, they must be intuitive and easy to use so that users use them correctly. The AGR association certificate is only awarded when a commission consisting of doctors and therapists deems that the product really helps avoid back pain. The relevant tests are organized by two independent medical associations – Forum Gesunder Rücken besser leben e.V. and Bundesverband deutscher Rückenschulen e. V. Child car seats with the AGR association certificate are more than just prevention of spinal disorders. Furthermore, during the assessment, not only the position of the little traveler is taken into account, but also all aspects that affect the back health of their parents, such as the method of installing the car seat or its weight.

AGR Certificate – a good decision for your back

Nowadays we are flooded with an enormous amount of advertising and sponsored content. Sometimes it's hard to distinguish marketing jargon from reliable information, which is especially important when purchasing products that affect our health. Fortunately, there are independent organizations that help make the right decisions. One of them is the AGR association, which not only promotes a back-healthy lifestyle but also certifies back-friendly products. By choosing child car seats with the AGR certificate, you are doing a favor to your back and your child's back.

Recommendation list for cars and installation of Beyond base

Note: The car manual is the leading guideline and must always be followed. This car list does not limit or guarantee the fit of this child seat.

The child seat is a universal i-Size child restraint system. It is approved to regulation R129 to use in all vehicle positions marked with the i-Size logo.

This child seat will also fit vehicles with positions approved as ISOfix positions (as detailed in the vehicle handbook), depending on category of the child and of the fixture. The mass group and the ISOfix size class for which this child seat is intended is: C; also defined as ISO/R3.

This child seat is suitable for fixing into the seat positions of the cars listed below, providing approved ISOfix points are fitted and available and the car manual does not forbid the installation of this type of child seat. Seat positions in other cars may also be suitable to accept this child restraint, however we have not yet tested that combination of car and child seat. ISOfix anchorage in the passenger seat (position 1) are normally offered as option, so depending on the model this position can be available or not.

Vehicle seat positions marked with * can have a storage compartment in front of the vehicle seat.

If the support leg would be positioned on a storage compartment in front of the seat, you must follow the car manufacturer's instructions regarding how to handle the storage compartment. When the floor under the floor support is insufficient to hold the forces you can not use this child seat in this position of the car.

BeSafe recommends to test the installation of this child seat in all vehicle seat positions which are intended to be used and check installation, available space in the vehicle and position of the child, to verify if this child seat is acceptable for your situation.
